1 Purpose
These terms explain the conditions for joining and remaining a member of Clean Alliance Party of Kenya (CAP-K). They support compliance with the laws of Kenya, including political party membership requirements, and promote accountable administration of the member register.
2 Eligibility & exclusivity
- Age: you must be 18 years or older.
- Identity: you must provide accurate identification details.
- No dual membership: you must not be registered as a member of another political party in Kenya.
- Truthfulness: you must not submit false, forged, or misleading information.
3 Registration, verification & approval
Registration may be submitted online or through authorised party officials. We may validate your details to prevent fraud, improve data quality, and meet statutory requirements. Activation may follow internal review.
4 Member responsibilities
- Keep details current: inform the party of changes to contact or residence information.
- Uphold values: participate in good faith and support peaceful, lawful political engagement.
- Respectful conduct: avoid hate speech, harassment, intimidation, and violence.
- Follow lawful instructions: comply with party rules, procedures, and lawful decisions.
5 Data protection & privacy
Membership data may include sensitive personal data. We process it in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and apply reasonable safeguards.

6 Fees, dues & communications
Where membership fees apply, amounts and schedules may be set by the party from time to time. You may receive communications (e.g. SMS or email) about administration, events, and activities, subject to consent and applicable law.
7 Suspension, termination & resignation
Membership may be suspended or terminated for breach of these terms, party rules, or applicable law — including dual membership, fraudulent registration, or conduct that harms the party or public safety. Resignation follows the party’s official resignation process.
