Quick answers about joining CAP-K, verification, the member portal, privacy, and how to get help.
Registration & membership
You must be 18 years or older, meet Kenyan eligibility rules for political party membership, provide accurate details, and confirm that you are not registered with another political party in Kenya. Final approval may follow internal review.
Open Member Register, complete all required fields honestly, sign where indicated, and submit. Keep your phone and email reachable in case we need to confirm your application.
Public registrations are typically reviewed before activation. Timing depends on verification workload and data checks. You can use Verify membership to check status when your record is available.
It is a unique reference assigned to your membership on the party register. On online forms it may be suggested automatically; you can usually keep it unless party officials instruct otherwise.
No. Kenyan law and party rules require exclusivity. You must declare that you are not a member of another registered party. False declarations can lead to rejection or termination. See Terms of Membership.
Contact the party office using the details on this page. For minor corrections after approval, authorised staff may update records in line with policy and the law.
The registration form may include diaspora voting centre options where applicable. Follow the on-screen guidance and only select diaspora fields if they apply to you. Eligibility rules still apply.
Verification & records
Use Verify membership and enter the details requested (such as ID and phone). If your record exists and matches, you will see an appropriate status message.
Common causes: a typo in ID or phone, registration still pending approval, or data captured under a different spelling. Try again carefully. If it persists, contact the office with proof of registration.
You may receive operational messages (e.g. verification, membership updates) where you provided contact details and where permitted. Marketing-style messages should respect your consent and applicable law. See the Privacy Policy.
Privacy & data protection
We process data for lawful purposes such as membership administration, compliance, and communication. We apply reasonable security measures. Full details: Privacy Policy.
Yes, where the Data Protection Act, 2019 applies you may have rights to access, rectify, or object. Some records must be retained for electoral compliance. Contact us through the office details on this page to make a request.

Member portal & account
The portal lets eligible members access self-service tools such as profile updates, password management, and resignation workflows where enabled. Start at Member Portal login.
Use the recovery or setup options on the portal login page. If you are stuck, contact the office so we can confirm your identity and guide you safely.
Use the official resignation process in the Member Portal where available, or contact the party for written procedures. Resignation may require identity confirmation.
Important declarations (e.g. exclusivity, consent) are part of your membership record. Read Terms of Use and Terms of Membership before you submit forms.
Disputes, documents & programmes
Use the public dispute intake at Submit Dispute. Provide clear facts and contact details. Internal processes and timelines may apply.
Information may be shared through official channels (website, SMS, email, county structures). Follow verified CAP-K pages and announcements from your county contact where applicable.
IPPMS is Kenya’s Integrated Political Parties Management System used for official party registration workflows. If you have an IPPMS identifier, you may enter it where the form asks; if not, follow staff guidance.
Nominations are governed by party rules and electoral law. Requirements, timelines, and fees (if any) are announced officially. Watch party communications or ask your county office for the latest instructions.
Any membership fees or levies are set by the party according to its constitution and policies. If a fee applies, you should receive clear notice of amount and payment method through official channels.
Technical & support
Use an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). Mobile works, but complex forms and signatures are easier on a larger screen. Ensure JavaScript is enabled.
Confirm required fields, signatures, and consent checkboxes. Check your network connection. If an error persists, screenshot the message and contact the office with the approximate time of the attempt.
Use the Contact panel on this page (phone, email, and office address). For legal wording, see Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Terms of Membership linked in the sidebar.
